ABOUT THIS EXHIBITION

OK, we're not writing an actual artist statement or press release, right?

No, but we need something to put on the website and send to people.

How do we talk about what we don't actually want to define or talk about?

We could say we drove in opposite directions and Rambled around, or about the inspiration or the point of the show? If we don’t, it might come off as cynical or trying to be subversive for no reason.
This is awful, I hate defining all of this.

Yeah, this exists better in the mystery, giving context kills it for me.

Well, we have to say something about the show, don’t we? It just has to be a few sentences, it can be pretty short.
Do we? I feel like I would be more interested if I read a statement that was just a few sentences of this dumb conversation. I don’t know, it might come off as gimmicky since we did it for our postcard too.
Yeah, who cares. The artwork will be self evident enough to understand and vague enough so people assign the meanings they want, writing a statement seems redundant and pointless.
We should just mention that the art is going to be incredible in our subjective opinion and there will be hot dogs at the opening
Great, if people really want to hear about the work, they can come to the opening and talk to us. Exhibition statement done!
